Suspension pistol squats are a great way to build bigger and stronger legs, provided you know how to use them correctly so the straps become a tool to assist progression rather than a crutch that prevents it.
Sample suspension leg workout:
Warm-up:
90s of deep squats. Hold onto the straps if needed.
20 total deep squats with the feet and knees together.
Main workout:
8,6,4,2 suspension pistol squats each leg. Perform one set for each leg back to back with minimal rest in between.
60s Jump squats or fast-tempo squat finisher.
