The Hongkeng Tulou Cluster is originally an obscure small mountain village, it gained fame due to its Hakka tulou (earthen buildings) and is now a national AAAA-level tourist area, as well as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site.They were mostly built between the 12th and the 20th centuries.
