Box breathing (also known as tactical breathing or four-square breathing) is a proven method used by Navy SEALs, athletes, and high-performers to stay calm under pressure, control stress responses, and build mental resilience.

You’ll follow a simple rhythm:
Inhale through the nose for 4 seconds → Hold for 4 seconds → Exhale through the nose for 4 seconds → Hold for 4 seconds
This creates a perfect “box” that signals safety to your nervous system and helps you regain clarity, control, and calm — even in high-stress situations.
