French Onion Pork Chops
Ingredients:
6-8 boneless pork chops
16 oz sour cream
1 package Lipton Onion Soup or Dip mix
1 package French Fried Onions
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Spray a 9X13 casserole dish.
Place pork chops in dish.
In a bowl combine the sour cream and soup mix.
Spread mixture over pork chops.
Top with fried onions, saving enough to put on top later.
Cover and bake 30 minutes.
Uncover and bake 20 more minutes.
Top with more fried onions and bake for 5-10 more minutes, until pork chops are cooked through.
Chocolate covered cherries
Ingredients:
30 maraschino cherries with stems
3 tablespoons butter softened
3 tablespoons corn syrup
2 cups powdered sugar sifted
1 pound chocolate candy coating
Instructions:
Drain cherries and set on paper towels to dry.
Combine butter and corn syrup, in a medium bowl, until smooth. Stir in powdered sugar and mix to form a dough. Chill for 30 minutes.
Wrap each cherry in 1 teaspoon of dough and chill again in the freezer for 20-30 minutes.
While cherries are chilling, melt candy coating according to package directions. Dip each cherry in the chocolate and place on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
