This self-treatment routine is great for those who want to relieve tight or achy muscles. Support trigger points, myofascial tension, or delayed onset muscle soreness and get to those difficult-to-reach spots. This routine can be done after a workout or run, or even before bed. It's great when you're travelling and don't have space to bring a foam roller. If you are new to soft tissue therapy, go very slowly so as not to increase overall soreness. If you perform this protocol on a carpet or bed, there will be less pressure/soreness. Also the more layers of clothing you wear, the more comfortable it gets. Go slow, have fun and get creative finding all those tight spots!
