I started working in information technology in January of 1999. Before that, I worked as a loan clerk in a bank doing commercial loans as well as being a customer service representative for an international shipping company for about 9 months before getting into IT.
I am completely self-taught when it comes to IT and proud of how far I have come. I started out in computer tech support, worked in many different capacities (IT Systems Administrator, IT Systems Engineer, Virtualization Specialist, Storage Administrator, Network Administrator, and more) and I have worked in many different industries. Today, I am employed as a Senior IT Manager - being responsible for the global helpdesk for my employer.
