So many believers struggle—not because Jesus isn’t real, but because they’re trying to live the Christian life without the Help Jesus promised.
In John 14:16–18, Jesus says the Father will give “another Helper”—the Holy Spirit—so we would never be left as orphans. The Greek word is Paraklētos, and it carries the weight of:
Advocate • Helper • Counselor • Comforter • Intercessor
This isn’t a “tissue and a hug” kind of comfort—this is supernatural support that strengthens you to obey, endure, and overcome.

Disobedience (re-opening doors that should stay shut)
Leaning on our own understanding
Trying to make things happen in our own strength
Only choosing the path of least resistance
Not prioritizing discipleship
Misunderstanding grace and mercy
Not living Spirit-led
