Another of Rics oddities. This one is basically the american Hoover Convertible, modified to run on 220/240v.
If my memory serves me, in 1979 the workers at the Hoover factory were on strike, and Hoover had no option to import US models for a short while hence the strange US/UK combo.
I'm not sure if the motor was different to UK Rangers too as this one sounds completely different to any other i've used.
Still its a nice colour scheme but lacks a headlight. It also has an odd height adjustment indicator that the UK models didn't have. This one belongs to ric and is in beautiful condition, however the bag has a few holes in it sadly.
