Join me for a 60 minute Hatha practice where we will be lengthening and stretching our hamstrings, hips and chest area. We will learn how to release our bodies through longer holds in each pose, which will help in improving our flexibility around these areas.
In Hatha, we hold each pose for 5-6 breaths at a time which will help those of you who are new to the practice to have a chance to take in the finer details on proper alignment. For those who are slightly more familiar to the practice, it will give you the chance to strengthen your bodies and cultivate a deeper sense of awareness.
One translation of the Sanskrit word Hatha means sun/moon, so through this practice, you will work towards finding balance - balance through both your physical body and in your mind.
This class is suitable for all levels.
