Today we are baking the Saturday White Bread from the Flour Water Salt Yeast cookbook by Ken Forkish. This book taught me a lot about baking bread and I would highly recommend picking up a copy for yourself. You will need a Dutch oven for this recipe.
Ingredients
7 3/4 cups flour
3 1/8 cups water
1 Tbsp + 1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Yeast
Be careful during the baking phase as the Dutch oven gets extremely hot and I almost picked the lid up with my bare hand. Make sure you are using good oven mitts.
This bread was great. If I can do it so can you!
