Also known as the granby roll.
The inverted roll is commonly used movement in BJJ and of course, warm-ups. This short video will go over tips towards starting and completing the motion. It will take some practice and getting used to as the motion requires you to go upside down. Hope this helps.
Tip: With hand placement as displayed in the video, maintaining placement can help you complete the awkward feeling motion that is the inverted roll.
The inverted roll will take some time to get used to and perfect. There are many other drills to assist beginners with going inverted, but these are what I've found to help me right away! Please talk to your coaches and practice safely under supervision. Soon you'll be granby rolling or inverted rolling at warmups just like everyone else.
