This Week in Volcano News; Mt. Rainier Earthquake Swarm, Major Eruption at Lewotobi

Описание: This week, an unusually strong earthquake swarm struck just underneath Mount Rainier's summit, involving more than 500 earthquakes. Meanwhile, in Indonesia, a major explosive eruption of Lewotobi occurred, resulting in multiple square miles being incinerated. And, in Iceland, the Katla volcano produced a jökulhlaup. This video will discuss these stories and list the 46 volcanoes which are actively erupting around the planet through the perspective of a geologist.
