Just south of the U.S. Mexico border is a volcano which few people have ever heard of. And yet, it exists right next to one of Mexico's largest geothermal fields, which generates more than 800 MW of electricity. What I am referring to is a presumably dormant (possibly extinct) lava dome complex volcano known as Cerro Prieto.
