Here is a brief and easy reference video to perform Front Delt Raises. You will need a pair of dumbbells (or kettlebells). You can also do these seated if you need relief for your back, or want to eliminate any cheating from your lower body.
This is an isolation exercise to target the anterior (front) delts. However, no “isolation” shoulder exercises ever truly hit only one head, so there is involvement from the medial delt head and the upper traps as well.
Use an appropriate weight while keeping your torso and hips stable so that that you don’t compensate the movement with other parts of your body, so that the load stays on the delts.
Keep a mind-muscle connection when performing these so that you can focus on the contraction in your delts with every rep!
