Over the weekend of the 14th to the 16th of September, the Dean Forest Railway held its annual diesel gala with three locos in operation. The railway managed to have class 42 Warship D832 ‘Onslaught’ visit from the East Lancs Railway, this being the first visit of the class to the line in preservation. From the home fleet, class 14 D9521 made its first appearance in fresh coat of BR blue alongside class 08 D3937 'Gladys'. An intensive timetable was in operation with two sets of carriages used alongside the freight made up of a rake of loaded dogfish ballast wagons. I hope you enjoy the video.
