Severn Valley Railway Diesel Gala 2019

Описание: Over the 16th to the 18th of May 2019, the Severn Valley Railway held their annual diesel festival. The line managed to have 10 visiting locos which were from various heritage railways and mainline operators. Class 37 688 made its debut in a fresh coat of Trainload Construction Grey and its first outing since having its vacuum brakes reinstated, allowing it to haul the normal length SVR stock. Class 46 010 visited from the Midland Railway Centre which had recently undergone overhaul and a fresh coat of BR blue. Other notable preserved visitors included Class 25 D7535 courtesy of the South Devon Railway and Class 31 97205 courtesy of the Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway which were both carrying new livery schemes. Mainline operators allowed Colas class 47 749 ‘City of Truro’, Colas class 60 095, Colas class 66 789 & DRS class 88 006 which made its passenger debut during the weekend. Unfortunately, the prototype HST 41 001 suffered engine issues at a recent gala which meant it was on static display during the weekend. However, this did allow its MK3 stock to be used as an air only set for the mainline locos and Bewdley shuttles. Most of the locomotives that were in operation were filmed at a few locations around Bewdley on the Thursday which included Safari Park Curve and Tenbury Wall. *All footage was recorded with a valid Severn Valley Railway Photographic Lineside Pass.
