Diesel action from today at the Severn Valley Railway for their Winter Diesel Gala, following the success of the last two year one day event featuring mostly a home fleet line up of heritage diesel locomotives. A great heritage railway fix post Christmas and prior to the New Year.
This year made it different to the rest, with two visiting locomotives - 37508 and 37418 courtesy of LORAM and Steve Beniston headlining the one day only event. 46045 was providing steam heat for the coaches as well as 1450 and 7714, making some unusual pairings as they double headed with the diesel. More notably, 37418 and 7714 captured in this video at Tenbury Wall. Coverage was taken around the Kidderminster to Arley section of the line.
