Raw rice – 2 cups (2 parts)
Black urad dal – 1 cup (1 part)
Dry ginger – 1/4 tsp
Pepper powder – 1 tsp
Salt – as needed
Ghee / Oil – as needed
Jaggery – 1/2 cup
Water – as required
