Intermittent fasting is everywhere — and so is the guilt when it doesn't work for you. Here's what nobody tells you: IF wasn't designed with your body in mind. The research was mostly done on men, the protocols were built around how men respond, and women's bodies — especially in perimenopause and menopause — play by completely different rules. As a holistic nutritionist, I'm not here to tell you IF is bad. I'm here to tell you it's not the only option. And sometimes eating a bowl of steamed broccoli for three days works better anyway.
