Blakey Just Got Worse ❄️ Sub Zero Snow on the Moors

Описание: Blakey Ridge in winter can be unpredictable.

Yesterday delivered fog and disappointment.
Today delivered snow.

This video follows my second attempt at finding winter on the North York Moors. Starting at Skelder Bank just after sunrise, crossing marginal ground where snow turns to rain within a mile, and climbing back onto Blakey Ridge where sub zero temperatures finally transformed the landscape.
From there, the journey continues into Cropton Forest and Hartoft End, right on the snow line. A hundred feet below it was rain. Up in the trees, thick flakes fell steadily, coating branches and softening the forest into something almost silent.

Winter does not always shout. Sometimes it waits. Sometimes it makes you work for it.
