My 7.3 F350 broke down at the beginning of a 10,000mile road trip ...

Описание: SO, I'm heading to the Arctic, and to spend the rest of the summer between Yukon and Alaska! But.....

The day finally came. My 2000 F350 with the 7.3 started having some issues. Was driving toward Terrace when I noticed the truck was smoking like crazy. Way more than normal.

Spent the day trying to figure it out and turns out the injectors are sticking. Not great. Gonna be expensive. But honestly with 400k on the clock, it was only a matter of time before something major came up.

Decided to head back to Smithers to get it fixed. Felt like the only place I’d have a shot at getting parts and finding someone who knows these old trucks.

Parts are coming from Arizona and they won’t be here for about six days. So now I’m just stuck here for the week. No clue what I’m gonna do with the time but we’ll figure it out.
