Join me in my new series 'Wander With Rachel,' where I will take you on a journey around beautiful sites in Ireland which inspire me as a daydreamer and an illustrator. I work as a freelance illustrator and create illustrations mainly for historical fiction and children’s books. Visiting historical and ancient sites in Ireland has always been a great inspiration for me since I was a child, and I hope my ‘artist’s eye’ can help you also to see the magic that surrounds us.

This week I'm visiting Castle Coole in Co.Fermanagh, where you can walk with me through the ancient forests and lakeshore; visit a charming little book shop, while also grabbing a bite to eat in an old stone cottage. We'll then head back to my sister's farm to hang out with the cats, cows, and late summer sunset.
