EXCEPTIONAL White Kabsa Rice With Lamb (Pressure Cooker)

Originally kabsa is a Saudi Arabian dish, and is easy to make, although this one requires some patience and discipline. This white kabsa rice is so special and different. Not only that but the meat in this white kabsa recipe just falls off the bone with no effort.

I always show at the end of my videos how tender the lamb is and how easily it falls off the bone.

In this recipe I have used 3 kgs of goat (mutton) shoulder. Feel free to use mutton or lamb. The instant pot makes everything so much easier.

There are 3 stages when cooking the lamb in this white kabsa rice with lamb recipe. Frying, pressure cooking, then grilling in the oven. This is why I said that this recipe requires patience and discipline.

This white kabsa rice is made from the meat (mutton I used) broth and a few tomatoes. No spices in this recipe whatsoever except for black and white pepper, oil and salt. Nothing else. No turmeric, no mixed spices, no cardamon, nothing other than what I mentioned earlier which are not even considered heavy spices or even spices at all.

Lamb kabsa is one of my favorite recipes, so making this exceptional white kabsa rice with lamb is a pleasure and so much fun.

White kabsa rice tastes so different from the traditional yellow kabsa. It is not the same whatsoever.
