Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri Hotel | Abu Dhabi

I've recently returned from my trip to Abu Dhabi where I stayed at the Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri Hotel for 6 nights. This hotel is located close to Abu Dhabi International Airport, Yas Island and Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. The mosque is so close you can actually see it from different parts of the hotel such as the infinity pool, beach, grounds and from a lot of the rooms.

I was very lucky to receive a room upgrade to one on the fourth floor looking out to the beach and Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. I couldn't have asked for a better balcony view, it was definitely one of the best balconies I have ever had. As you will see in the video, the room itself was large and spacious with a luxurious bathroom. This Shangri-La hotel is huge! It has really nice grounds along with two beaches and two swimming pools, one of which is an infinity pool looking across the water to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. It really is amazing and I don't think video clips do it justice. There are other facilities too such as a gym and spa as well.

One of my favourite things about this hotel was the complimentary boat service from the hotel to a nearby souk. It's a very relaxing ride and really unique having this in a hotel. It's definitely better than getting a taxi there!

Lastly, I wanted to give a shout out to the incredible staff at this Shangri-La Hotel who were all extremely friendly and efficient. The staff in the restaurant Sofra Bld where we had a buffet breakfast every morning were all great. The food choice and quality as well was perfect.

I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you visit Abu Dhabi!
