Shannon Ives, 28, of Mornant Avenue, Prestatyn, was jailed for 12 years for allowing the death of her son.

Officers spent months gathering vital evidence, speaking to numerous witnesses, medical experts and viewing hundreds of hours of CCTV footage from the Ives’ home to ensure they could piece together the facts about what happened to him.
