I live in Germany. That is why today I will show you how to make “Crispy Pork Knuckle” (Kha Mu Ob Krob), which is very popular in the south of Germany. To be honest: I try it for the first time myself.
Crispy pork knuckle, also known as German pork knuckle (Kha Mu German) or “Eisbein”, can be prepared either deep fried or in the oven. You will find it easy to make at home.
Today, I will do it in the oven and eat it with Thai style chili dipping sauce.

800g pork leg
1.5 liters water
50g onions
50g celery stalk
20g leek
4-5 bay leaves
1 tsp. salt
1-2 tsp. mixed pepper
1-2 tbsp. sugar
2-3 tbsp. vinegar
***Serve it with chili dipping sauce!
