Hey Friend! 💕 Welcome or welcome back! I know I’m a little late with this upload, but I’m still learning how to juggle editing with everyday life.
In this episode of Najah’s Not-So-Late Bloomer (ok, maybe not the best alliteration 😅), I’m focusing on building community, enjoying life, and learning to stop comparing myself to others while romanticizing the life I already have.
This week’s vlog was packed with fun! I went to a Yelp Dinner Series event (yes, they treat you 👀), but instead of food, it was a wine tasting—and let me tell you, I clearly know nothing about wine notes, colors, or flavors. All I really know is if I like it or not!
I also went to see one of my favorite jazz bands, DuPont Brass—their music is pure soul food. Definitely check them out or listen to their latest album Professional Development.
Did you know you can get free golf lessons in the DMV? The National Trust Link hosts them every month—such a hidden gem!
And the highlight of my week? Tubing! It was the perfect mix of a pool party and lazy river vibes. My host and hostess really made it such a blast.
