OMG friend, I’m so glad you came back! And if you’re new here, welcome My name is Najah Amani (your Not-So-Late Bloomer friend), reminding you that you’re not late in life, you’re on your own path. I’m all about romanticizing the life we already have, because it’s an amazing one.
I think you’ll love this vlog! This week I celebrated Virgo season (yep, I’m a Virgo ♍️), and of course, I had to kick it off with my fellow Virgos. We went all out this year with a boat day on the water with Sea the City, such a perfect experience for birthdays, bachelorettes, or just celebrating life.
If you’re ever in Washington DC in late August, definitely check out Restaurant Week. My friend and I tried Filomena, and even my friend who doesn’t like Italian food loved it—so that says a lot.
This vlog jumps around a little, but stick with me because it was such a fun week: I went to a DC United soccer match to kick off Labor Day weekend, and then checked out the first ever AfroPlus Fest, such a vibe and full of culture, music, and community energy.
