La Gigue de Terrebonne is a great Québécois fiddle tune from the playing of Alfred Montmarquette. The melody is fairly simple and lends itself to that traditional Québécois sound with drones on the open D and A strings. Once you get it up to speed, the tune sounds a lot more difficult than it is to play.
