La Galope de La Malbaie (also known as Mackilmoyle’s Reel) is a great traditional tune played out of the key of D.
Joseph Bouchard recorded his Québécois version of the tune in the late 30’s, and André Brunet’s version is based on the playing of Mr. Bouchard. André walks us through his basic and advanced arrangement of the tune in this lesson module.
