They may turn their backs. They may walk away.
But God?
He never will.
He never has.
Here’s the truth: it’s not God who walks away from you — it’s us who turn from Him.
We turn when we chase the world.
We make people, relationships, and worldly things our identity — unconsciously we make people places and things our idols — and place them all above God.
No wonder we feel as though he turned his back from us, but that’s never the case!
We turn when we give in to temptation.
We turn when we ignore the voice of conviction.(holy spirit)
Know regardless even then your heavenly Father is still faithful.
Still present.
Still covering you.
Nothing you’ve done — nothing you will do — can push Him away.
He’s always ready, always waiting, always holding on.
If you can recognize this, if you can turn back, you’ll see:
God never left. We just turned away.
