But I have to gently ask - is your prayer life centered around outcomes?
Or intimacy?
Because many are the plans in a person’s heart, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail. (Book of Proverbs 19:21)

Some of us are exhausted not because God isn’t answering -
but because we’re trying to use prayer to control outcomes
instead of letting prayer transform us.

I don’t pray just to get things anymore.
I pray to stay connected.
To walk through my day knowing I am not alone.
That Jesus Christ is with me.
That the Holy Spirit is interceding for me.
That my life is bigger than this moment, this relationship, this loss, this relay.

Are you praying for a person...
or are you praying to become more like Christ?
Are you asking God to give you what you want... or to shape you into who you’re called to be?

Because there’s a difference.

A lot of people are preaching a gospel that sounds good to the flesh.
“Manifest it.”
“Claim it.”
“God will give you the desires of your heart.”

But what if the real freedom is desiring Him above everything?

The Church is not a building.
It’s people.
It’s community.
It’s becoming the hands and feet of Jesus in a world that is starving for something real.

My heart aches of watching believers suffer because they’re clinging to outcomes instead of clinging to Christ.

Feel your emotions.
Grieve.
Hope.
Desire love.
But don’t kneel to it.
Kneel to God.
Because when your foundation is Him, even if everything shakes - you won’t.
