WARNING: We have new information that could break your watch and force you to reflash firmware to get it started again. It is happening to watch owners like you right now.
DO NOT INSTALL ANY WATCH FACES FROM THE “ + “ BUTTON AT THE END OF ALL THE WATCH FACE THUMBNAILS.
Jump to the end of this video to learn why. You’ve been warned! Until the problem is fixed there is NOTHING you can do except reflash your watch to recover.
This applies to ALL FINOW AND NO.1 WATCHES THAT SUPPORT THIS FEATURE (X1, X1 plus, X3, X3 plus, X5, Q1, Q3 and D5, D6, S6 and ALL OTHER WATCHES with similar names and software (K8, K8 mini, K9, etc.). PLEASE don’t do it!

INSTALLING WATCH FACES ON TETHERING WATCHES

UPDATE 2016-10-09: Installing Watch Faces on Tethering Watches
One of our viewers has made a simple list of steps to follow in installing watch faces on tethering watches that use the Fundo wear or Mediatek phone app. Here's his post:

Thanks...for the conveniene of anyone else with the same confusion:
1. Install Fundo Wear or Mediatek Smartdevice on your phone.
2. Download any watch face / extract it.
3. There will be 3 files: .xml, .png and .vxp. Copy these, and paste into your smartphone sdcard inside folder "appmanager" .
4. Open the mediatek or fundo app, connect to your watch. Then go to "My Application", press "Install Now" button on the watch face.
5. Done.
