Government alone cannot fix everything. But, we are taking action to ease cost pressures - putting a little more money in your pocket.
Together, we lowered payroll taxes for 86% of workers while asking the privileged to pay more.
We gave more families access to the child daycare allowance, helping to ease their financial burden and reduce the stress of paying for nursery fees.
We introduced a minimum wage for the first time in Bermuda, boosting salaries for Bermuda's lowest-paid workers.
We helped 40 young families get mortgages to own their piece of the rock while building 71 affordable housing units so that more families have a place to call home that they can afford.
