Bena Kallick is an author, speaker, and educational consultant who has co-authored numerous books on Habits of Mind with Arthur Costa, including Students at the Center: Personalized Learning with Habits of Mind. She is Co-Founder and Director of the Institute for Habits of Mind.

Arthur L. Costa is Professor Emeritus at California State University, Sacramento, past president of ASCD, and author or editor of many foundational works on teaching for thinking, including The School as a Home for the Mind and Developing Minds. He is also Co-Founder and Director of the Institute for Habits of Mind.
