ଓଡିଶା ବିଧାନସଭାରେ ଆଜି ବିରୋଧୀଦଳ ଉପନେତା ପ୍ରସନ୍ନ ଆଚାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଚାଷୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଧାନରେ ବୋନସ ପ୍ରସଙ୍ଗ ଉଠାଇ ସରକାରୀ ନୀତି ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ମତ ରଖିଥିଲେ। ସେ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ ନବୀନ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଥିବାବେଳେ ସୋହେଲାରେ ଚାଷୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରତି କ୍ୱିଣ୍ଟାଲ ଧାନରେ ୧୦୦ ଟଙ୍କା ବୋନସ ଦେବା ପାଇଁ ଘୋଷଣା କରିଥିଲେ।
କିନ୍ତୁ ସେହି ବୋନସ ଚାଷୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଇପାରିନଥିବାର କାରଣ ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ସେ ବିଧାନସଭାରେ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ କରିଥିଲେ। ତାଙ୍କ କଥାନୁସାରେ ତତ୍କାଳୀନ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାର ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଥିଲେ ଯେ ଯଦି ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର ଚାଷୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ବୋନସ ଦେବେ, ତେବେ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାର ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ଚାଉଳ କିଣିବେ ନାହିଁ।
ଏହି ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ଡକ୍ୟୁମେଣ୍ଟ ଆମ ପାଖରେ ରହିଛି ବୋଲି ସେ କହିଥିଲେ। ଯଦି ଦରକାର ପଡ଼େ ତେବେ ସେହି ପ୍ରମାଣପତ୍ର ସରକାରଙ୍କୁ ଦେବାକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ବୋଲି ସେ କହିଥିଲେ।
ସେ ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରିଥିଲେ ଯେ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାରଙ୍କ ଅସହଯୋଗ ଯୋଗୁ ତତ୍କାଳୀନ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର ଚାଷୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ୧୦୦ ଟଙ୍କା ବୋନସ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିପାରିନଥିଲା।
In the Odisha Assembly, Opposition Deputy Leader Prasanna Acharya raised the issue of paddy bonus for farmers during his speech today. He stated that former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had announced a ₹100 bonus per quintal of paddy for farmers during a programme in Sohela.
However, the bonus could not be implemented at that time. Acharya explained that the then Central Government had warned that if the Odisha government provided a bonus to farmers, the Centre would not procure additional rice from the state.
He further said that documents related to this communication are available and can be presented if required. According to Acharya, due to the lack of cooperation from the Central Government, the state government could not provide the ₹100 bonus to farmers.
