LIVE Lucas Switch Failure and a HUGE Wegs Garage Milestone!

Описание: Sometimes things do not go to plan on our 1964 Triumph TR4 project, and sometimes we catch a heart-wrenching failure LIVE ON CAMERA! This week I try to fix a poorly designed replacement Lucas switch, but things go a little sideways... Watch until the end for a special THANK YOU and a look back at the early days of our project!

A couple words about the switch featured in today's video: This is the heater fan on-off switch. However, it is a universal replacement part that appears to have many British car applications. It came in a green Lucas box, but I do not have the part number. The large, live, exposed brass terminals on the back of the switch could only have been designed by the prince of darkness himself. If you must use this switch, it is a good idea to insulate the screw terminals with heat shrink as shown in the video. Oh and take care when tightening.
