A few of our highlights from our visit to Whyalla.
Whyalla is in South Australia on the east coast of the Eyre Peninsula.
It is one of South Australia's largest cities.
Whyalla has the steelworks and is close to the mining town of Iron Knob.
In the video it shows some highlights from our stay including Discovery Parks Whyalla foreshore, Hummocks Hill, Whyalla jetty, Whyalla wetlands, HMAS Whyalla and maritime museum, giant cuttlefish swim site and Point Lowly Lighthouse.
Not included in this video, we also visited the steelworks on a tour and explored the Ada Ryans gardens. There is a huge amount of interesting history around Whyalla and the significance the region has played in Australia's history especially during wartime.
