As you know, recently Santa Cruz Metro introduced their brand-new Hydrogen buses into the fleet, increasing the speed with retiring these older New Flyers, including the 2200s and 9800s. These buses will be leaving the fleet much quicker than you expect and be replaced by brand new buses.
These 2200s series buses sound very good! All of them originally has Detroit Diesel Series 50 EGR engines, but now they equip John Deere 6081H engines with Allison B400R transmission.
