AGAHNIM - The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Ep. 7

Day 7

I stormed through Hyrule Castle. Agahnim was at the very top of the castle's highest tower according to one of the monsters I interrogated.
The door to the tower was blocked off by a seal, but the Master Sword's sacred power shattered it. I fought my way through countless enemies and ran up the stairs as fast as I could...but I was too late.
Agahnim stopped me in my tracks as soon as I entered the room. Zelda disappeared...right before my eyes. I was able to move again once Agahnim disappeared into a nearby room. I tried to hit him with the sword, but he was too quick. The hits I did make barely scratched his robes.
Agahnim cast a spell at me. On instinct, I used the Master Sword to send the spell back at him. That hurt him. He tried throwing another spell at me, but I sent it right back at him again. Agahnim was still after the second spell made its mark. I approached him, more than ready to finish him off. Just before the Master Sword made its mark, everything around me faded away.
All I could see was white. Then I felt a familiar dread. The Moon Pearl pulsed. When the light died down, I saw that I was on top of a pyramid. Agahnim was gone. He must have died of his injuries.
Sahasrahla was able to communicate with me and tell me that I was in the Dark World. Since the seal of the Seven Sages is gone now, the Light and Dark Worlds are linked at Hyrule Castle. The only way to restore the seal is to get the Golden Power. Sahasrahla told me that I need to seek out the help of the girls who were sent here. It seems...they're alive! Zelda's alive! Sahasrahla told me to go to the Palace of Darkness first. His voice faded after that.
I found other creatures who had turned into monsters as soon as they entered this land. One of the ones who didn't try to kill me pointed me toward the east. It was located where the Eastern Palace was in Hyrule. I found a small house in that area. Inside was a strange tree creature. I asked him about the Palace of Darkness and the Golden Power. He said that the Palace of Darkness was nearby, but it was home to many monsters.
About the Golden Power, the tree said that the only way I can use it is if I kill the one who currently holds it. Long ago, someone had entered this land and gained the Golden Power. He wished for this land of evil. The tree also called the Golden Power "Triforce." I think I remember seeing that word in one of Zanji's old books at my home.
