Took the 2024 Beta 430RS up Tip Top Mountain (2N90) near Big Bear... and let's just say it sounded like a chill ride at first. A few miles in, I realized "Tip Top" is code for “your legs and clutch will hate you.”
The trail itself isn’t insane, but it throws enough loose rock and sketchy lines at you to keep things spicy. The views at the top are worth it though—assuming you make it there without laying it down or questioning your life choices.
The Beta 430RS crushed it as usual. Makes me look like I know what I’m doing (I don’t). Super smooth, super fun, and surprisingly forgiving when I pick bad lines—which is often.
