Last week, the remarkable young people enrolled in the outdoor education program at Manitouwadge High School along with instructors from Great Lakes Cultural Camps took part and completed a Ice Safety and Rescue (ISR) 2-day Certificate Course.
Boreal River Rescue provided dynamic dryland training and exhilarating ice rescue training scenarios while wearing Cold-Water Immersion Suits in open water on the lake.
It truly was a one-of-kind experience that we’ll never forget.
