It’s -2 degrees and there’s snow everywhere: perfect conditions to free solo the bridge crack. Robbie Phillips & Culann O Brien haven’t hand jammed or even thought about crack climbing in months. So please don’t fall boys!
We’ve climbed the bridge in winter, climbed with the Wide Boyz (Tom Randall & Pete Whitakker), and even saw world cup climber Will Bosi take a fall. But we felt inspired by Magnus Midtbø’s infamous ‘CLIMBING ABOVE FREEZING WATER - DEEP WATER SOLOING’ and thought we’d challenge ourselves.
