People headed to the beach and there was activity at the port on the second day of a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel.
After 11 days of Israeli airstrikes which forced many to flee their homes, celebrations erupted in Gaza, the occupied West Bank and east Jerusalem after the cease-fire was announced on Thursday.
The latest conflict left more than 250 dead - the vast majority Palestinians - and brought widespread devastation to the already impoverished Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip
