Right now I’m preparing for something I’m calling Project 300 Sub-90.
The goal is simple.
Deadlift 300kg
Then immediately run a sub-90 minute half marathon.
This challenge is about pushing both ends of the spectrum — maximal strength and endurance — at the same time.
In this video I walk through where my training currently sits, including why I’m taking a deload week, how I’m managing fatigue, and the exercises I’m prioritising as I build toward the attempt.
Hybrid training isn’t about just doing more.
It’s about managing fatigue, structuring your week properly, and knowing when to push and when to back off.
