Modernization Complete! New Voices! Westinghouse/Schindler Main Terminal Elevators at Tampa Airport

Well, here's the moment you've all been waiting for! As of Late 2023, the Full & Complete Modernization to All of the Elevators at The Tampa International Airport's Main Terminal/Short Term Garage has OFFICIALLY BEEN COMPLETED!
These elevators were a HUGE part of my childhood, I was only 3 or 4 years old when I first remember riding them, and to come here and not hear the dinner bells, be able to press the Type A/AE Buttons or listen to the Male Voice was definitely really weird and rather depressing, it definitely shows how much things really do change.
On the flip side though, Schindler did an EXCELLENT Job with the Modernization and JUST VERY RECENTLY within the last few months, BRAND NEW Custom Female voices have been added to the elevators! These new voices definitely aren't as nice as the old male voices nor are they nostalgic for obvious reasons, but I'm glad they didn't continue to default to the Generic Schindler voice which these elevators had during the modernization.
The new elevators are also noticeably smoother than the Old elevators, and these even still use analog indicators with the mod!
All in all, Schindler did do a great job with the mod and in its completed state, it looks great, but I will TRULY TRULY miss the original elevators here for reasons I've discussed many times.

For those wondering, unfortunately no parts were saved from these elevators save for a lantern I got and a COP that a former user managed to get but aside from that nothing else was saved despite efforts to get parts from Schindler as well as the Airport by myself and others.

With this all being said, I hope you guys enjoy my FINAL UPDATE on this Modernization featuring ALL FOUR BANKS of elevators here in their full & complete Modernization, and while I will truly miss the originals, I do look forward to what's in store for these in the future.

April 1971-May 2023

Installed in 1971. (Westinghouse Selectomatic Mark IV with Type A/AE Fixtures)

Modernized:

1st Modernization: Circa 2005-2007 (Schindler mod with New Controllers, added fire service, New External indicators & Voices added. Motors, Fixtures, cabs and Lanterns left original.)

Call Stations on floors 1-3 replaced in 2013, Cabs Redone in 2017.

2nd Modernization: 2022-2023 (Schindler 6400 mod with New Motors, New Controllers, MAD BP Fixtures, New Lanterns, New Brailles, New Doors, etc. Cabs left as is from 2017 remodel)
