In 2021, after already being cemented as a legend for being one of the first people to complete all 11 National Scenic Hiking Trails, Nimblewill Nomad set out to break the record for being the oldest person (83) to ever thru-hike the Appalachian Trail.
He was kind enough to sit down with us to discuss not only what breaking the record meant to him but also muse on the power of the community, the trail, and his legacy.
