Baron 1898 opened at the Efteling theme park in the Netherlands in 2015 and is manufactured by B&M. It's a floorless dive coaster reaching speeds of 56mph.
As much as it's a baby dive coaster in that its first drop is only 123ft, and has quite a short layout at 1600ft, it does have 2 inversions, a nice tight 360 degree helix and a small pop of airtime just before the brake run. It's heavily themed on a gold mine and features a nice little on ride pre-show just before the lift hill.
It's a great ride with a satisfying Zero G roll and is one of the best coasters at the park.
