Baron 1898 is a Bolliger and Mabillard (B&M) Dive Coaster that opened at Efteling in The Netherlands in 2015.
In 1898, Baron Gustave Hooghmoed discovers a cave full of gold deposits. Here he encounters the Witte Wieven (White Women) Spirits who warn him that if he disturbs the gold he will suffer terrible consequences, despite this, Baron Hooghmoed sends poor local workers (the riders) into the cave to retrieve the gold for him.
With its impressive 123ft Drop, riders can reach speeds of 56mph!
