Sammie Walker Herrera (@sammiemlwalker is Manager for Integrated Partnerships at the University of Florida’s Career Connections Center. She serves as the embedded Career Coach to the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS). She earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Hispanic Studies from Carnegie Mellon University. She graduated from the Master’s program in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania where she found her strong interest in adult cognitive development including epistemological development, and existential psychotherapy. Sammie’s interests include listening to audio books whenever she has a question about something, singing in choir, and Latin dance.
